While the eruption has caused airspace chaos across Europe, the "Nightline" footage shows a strangely calm and quiet scene.

The bad news is that we really don't know what Eyjafjallajökull has in store. The last time it erupted was in the 19th century -- from December 1821 through January 1823. That's right: it coughed up its ash plumes for more than a year.

Just before the first blast my fiancee dreamed the night before, he woke up from sleeping and he looked at the clock it read 1:40am in the morning but outside the sun was blaring like it 7am! It's as if mother nature is putting up a fence in the airspace. Can you imagine what will happen to air travel around the world, if this continues or another volcano in Iceland erupts?

It's amazing how dumb some reporters are. The guy says his lungs feel "different" after being outside, like it had ANYTHING to do with the volcano. No, genius, that's due to the bitter cold they regularly experience in that part of the world. It has absolutely no relation to the volcano.

Great story, crazy informative coverage!

Hope Europe grasps the nature of kharma after what their banks are doing to iceland's people.
