Franck Ribery Admits To Child Prostitute Sex: Report

French soccer star Franck Ribery admitted to having sex with a 17-year-old prostitute, sources tell the Guardian. Ribery, who has been called "the jewel of French football" by none other than soccer legend (and infamous World Cup headbutter) Zinedine Zidane, claims that he did not know the teenager was underaged when they slept together.

The 27-year-old soccer player has not been charged with a crime, but purchasing sex from anyone under 18 is illegal in France. Ribery's famous teammate is also in the middle of the scandal.

The French prostitution investigation marks the second major scandal to rock international soccer in recent months. In England, the World Cup team's soccer captain relinquished his title after he was reported to have carried on a torrid affair with a teammate's ex-partner.

She was represented as "legal age" as underage girls are NOT supposed to be at a brothel. Therefore, the club owners should be charged, not the players (unless there is evidence they knew).

You might want to practice what you preach. He admitted that he hired her but that he didn't know that she was only 19. Her photos and video footage clearly displays how he could make that mistake.

It was a joke. There are some who have tried to suggest that celibacy in the priesthood is what led to the abuse crisis. When the Catholic Church is actually a very small % of most abuse cases, which are typically from family and friends. Many of whom are married. In other words, it has nothing to do with it.

I'll bet there are still aspects of sports that do not involve illicit sex. Even conceding that sports is every bit as much entertainment as the porn channels, there should be some room in sports coverage for accounts of the play on the field.

Well presumably you would have a conversation with a non-prostitute you sleep with where. if you live in a country with strict statutory rape laws, you can ask them their age. As a practical matter, you are probably much less likely to meet a 17yo, b/c you know, they are busy being Juniors in high school.
