Heather Locklear Cited For Hit-and-Run

LOS ANGELES — Heather Locklear has a court date next month on misdemeanor hit-and-run charges after an early-morning crash knocked down a street sign.

Ventura County Sheriff's Captain Eric Dowd says Locklear was cited and released Saturday after a resident reported hearing a crash around 4 a.m. An investigation led police to Locklear, whom they believe was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.

Blair Berk, an attorney for the 48-year-old actress, confirmed Locklear was cited as the car's registered owner but said "it is not yet clear who was driving the vehicle."

The matter will be heard May 17 at Simi Valley Court, Dowd said.

Locklear was arrested in 2008 for driving under the influence of prescription drugs. She pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of reckless driving in January 2009.

Why do they always say " it is not yet clear who was driving". Well that can be answered in a two minute phone call where you ask Heather "WHO WAS DRIVING?".

She is rapidly approaching the time when she MUST stop the plastic surgery. Already, her eyes, mouth, and cheeks are looking odd and puffy. She's 48. She can't keep trying to look 22.

The world is going to hell in a hand basket, but HP wants you to know Heather Locklear's vehicle hit a sign post while being driven by who knows who. I come to this site to read other people's posts, throw in my own, and look at pictures. When I want the news, I buy a paper or watch Jon Stewart.

When I think of "Hit and Run," I think of hitting a person, or another car, etc. It seems a bit salacious a phrase to describe what happened here.
