Hitler Finds Out That 'Downfall' Parodies Are Being Removed From YouTube (VIDEO)

What's Your Reaction:

You knew this was coming. Upon hearing the news that all of the "Downfall" parodies are being removed from YouTube, Hitler is pissed. And rightfully so. How dare they delete his reaction videos? They had over 100 million views!

The creator of this video (uploaded apparently by Hitler, himself) had the good sense to upload it to Funny Or Die, where Hitler's safe. For now.

Those parodies are usually good for a laugh. Some are very clever. So what's the ish?

Last time I looked this was still a free country....

Too bad. I think one of Emanuel getting the news of Blago's subpoena would have been great.

Some good reading about copyrighted works and the difference between satire and parody...

(although it is an incredible amount of info in legalese to digest.)

The funniest one I ever saw was when Hitler was informed about Palin's book deal. He couldn't believe she chose "Going Rogue" as the title. He's upset she didn't take his title suggestion, "Mein Kampf Also Too." Lol!

I like the one where Hitler says to the guy loosening his collar near the end, "Go ahead. I put cyanide in your coffee a few minutes ago, anyway, so do what you want." I quickly downloaded the best ones a couple of days ago, if nothing else. The trembling fingers of rage taking off the glasses bit is the best part. And, a tip to anyone who wants to continuing doing these: speed up the video by 5% and Content ID is fooled. Only a few people would notice the difference.

Without the parody videos I'd have never heard of the movie the clip is from, Downfall. The performance itself is so powerful, it is mesmerizing. The parody comes because of the power of the clip itself.

This takedown is akin to throwing away all marketing for a product. Stupid move. If I were a producer for Downfall, I'd have instead had the parody makers put a link to the website where I'd have a "Buy Now" button. You can't buy this kind of publicity, and they threw it away.

I have had a laugh or two watching these but I feel for the films creators.

This is an all German production about the single most serious subject in their history.

It's got to sting a bit to see it used this way.

On every Hitler parody video, people always tend to comment on how amazing the film "Downfall" actually is. Do these producers not realize how much publicity their film has received recently? It's funny to see how some people are still so afraid of "teh interwebz"

Good to see Hitler made fun of again rather than being emulated or compared to the president.
