Josh McDaniels: "I Would Expect That There Be Some Conversations" About Moving Up In Draft

WATCH: McDaniels Tips His Draft Hand: Are The Broncos Looking To Trade?

Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels may have tipped his NFL draft hand in an interview with the NFL network. "Having two picks in that second round provides you with a lot of flexibility to do a lot of different things," the controversial second-year coach told the NFL's Michael Lombardi.

When pressed on the comment, McDaniels responded: 'I would expect that there be some conversations that take place between round one and round two."

The Broncos recently traded star wide-receiver Brandon Marshall to Miami for two second-round picks (one of which will apply to the 2011 draft), giving the Broncos an extra second-rounder to work with heading into Thursday's NFL draft. The Broncos also have two first round picks.

McDaniels has come under fire for trading away many of the team's top players with whom he reportedly does not get along.

McDaniels defended his record to Lombardi, arguing "when you have tom spend so much time worrying about one player's over somebody else's, it doesn't pay off."
