Dr. Julie Manly was one of many American health professionals who traveled to Haiti following the January 12 earthquake. She was surprised to find a relatively sophisticated hospital that was still standing, though badly damaged.
She's returned to Port-au-Prince twice since, determined to save the hospital that is receiving little financial support. To date, she's raised over $200,000. She was profiled recently on NBC Nightly News' "Making A Difference" segment.
