Karl Rove Gop Strategy

Hotline On Call:

A high-powered political briefing yesterday at Karl Rove's Northwest D.C. home (which doubles as his office) was attended by about 2 dozen big name GOP consultants, fundraisers and operatives. They're fast ramping up 3 separate groups that intend to spend tens of millions each on ads and get out the vote drives to help scores of GOP Senate and House members in the mid-term elections.

Strategy Meeting? Who needs strategy? All you do is get a copy of the Lee Atwater Playbook, (why give Rove credit for Atwater’s hard work), anyway, you get a copy of the Atwater Playbook and you lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie.

You lie faster than the daily news cycle. You lie so fast and so often that your lies become truth. Like magic. MAGIC.

Karl, Karl, Karl... this procedure requires no strategy. The procedure requires only one thing – one key ingredient: A controllable media. That’s it. And you already have that. (Fox, CNN, WSJ, ABC, CBS, NBC) As long as the media reports this lie and that lie and the lie you haven’t seen coming, the Republicans will succeed. Without the controllable media, the Republican Party would be history.

Karl Rove did not invent this procedure. This is ALL Lee Atwater. If you are truly curious in learning how the Republican Party continues to be a viable entity, I suggest you watch the movie Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story. This will explain everything.

Well, almost everything. The one thing it doesn’t explain is why there are so many people out there today, many aware of Atwater’s lies and Rove’s lies that don’t “get it” and vote Republican anyway. Knowing the lies are so terribly manufactured and still voting for a Republican. It boggles the mind.

Have to get everyone speaking from the same page of talking points, and reversing the definitions from reality when speaking publicly.

It's what he does....

As a Republican, I could never vote for Politicians that lie to their constituents, and they don't care that you know that they are lying, because that is the criteria for being an Republican. Sorry, a liar is also a thief.

As teh prodigal son of Lee Atwater, Rove will unleash the dogs of more divisive politics. Norm Coleman, an elite, in the GOP? Maybe Rick Santorum was with him. This is going to be one nasty midterm election.

The favorite game of the American SUCKER is ping-pong.

Republicans should embrace Obama because he hasn't changed anything Bush did.

Bush/Paulson initiated the bail outs of Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan; Obama continued
Bush/Cheney initiated the wars in Iraq and Afganistan; Obama expanded
Bush/Cheney implemented warrantless wiretapping; Obama continued
Bush/Cheney approved torture and off shore prison camps; Obama continued
Bush/Cheney wanted to create a fake reason to attack Iran; Hillary wants the same
Bush/Cheney wanted to privatize social security; Obama mandates HMO premium payments

There is no difference between Democrats and Republicans.

This miser@ble wret.ch outed an active-duty management-level CIA operative whose portfolio was nuclear weapons technology in the midE@st, where we went militarily adventuring. All his other cr!mes have yet to be disclosed, but he belongs in a small ce//, being interr0g@ted about that cr!me, at least. Why is he wandering free, spreading yet more mischief and eeevil wherever he can?

Why isn't he in jail already? Pelosi needs to get him handcuffed, brought to the Capitol, and made to testify UNDER OATH! I have more of a problem with Obama on Rove, Cheney, and Bush than any other issue.

GOP post election goals: All blacks back to the plantations. Obama deported to Kenya. All hispanics deported or arrested. Wall street boys back to business as usual. All power back to the white racist olde boys Republican club...........nirvana

It won't happen as long as Rove is kept as far away as possible to any voting machine. I really believe the Rethugs shot their wad early with this health care issue. Now the issue is becoming forgotten. As long as the insurers get called out for what they want to continue to do, and a public option hangs over their heads, they might stop their shenanigans. WellPoint didn't make any friends today with the breast cancer scandal that got exposed. As long as jobs increase, housing prices climb, and the troops start to come home from Iraq and Afghanistan, the Rethugs are THROUGH!

He's not a man: he's a coward.

From the man who brought you the worst president in history. Keep up the good work Karl!

Worst Deciders in history. They never were the President, Bush/Cheney. They were the first actual F****** co-dictators of the USA, using the Constitution as toilet paper for four years. When you consider that Franco died leaving Spain in the 19th century with his forty years of dictatorship from 1939-1975, taking what had become one of the most progressive countries in the world between 1931-1935 to one of the most regressive; compare that with what Bush/Cheney did in eight: taking the country $3 trillion in debt to $10 trillion, shredding the First Amendment with allowing church/state to almost become one, having one un-provoked war, another that didn't get finished (Iraq the former, Afghanistan the latter), not raising taxes for these wars and keeping them off the Federal Budget, spending and borrowing like a third world country, being Reverse Robin Hood, allowing for a huge tax cut for the ultra rich so that they could squirrel away $11 trillion overseas.

Rovian perception management worked when from NYT to CNN, from hate radio to the electorate nobody asked questions about backgrounds and truth (sounds actually still like the present msm). The first telling setback must have been received when a program director, sent into NPR by KR was called out as political propagandist for Cheney's White House. Then, with every revelation of the terrible things cooked up by this administration and thanks to ever faster information technology, perception management had become an obsolete and despicable strategy.
How disingenous is it to use Cheney/Bush's PR-man widely seen like a Shakespearean villain now in 2010 stands in the modern-era spotlight after these disastrous years for the nation he was co-responsible for.

Karl's biggest success was to get the baptists to join with the KKK , the catholic church and the NRA to place GWB in office for 8 disastrous years.
