The details weren't mentioned in this story, but I really thought this woman had a good case. She submitted her ideas to this publisher, was turned down, and then, not much later, the same publisher puts out Seinfeld's book. It's not like there have been books like this out before; the fact that these books both went through the same publisher, with the first (by a professional) being turned down, and the second (by an amateur) published, makes the situation look very suspicious. I also don't understand why she isn't suing the publisher.

I don't know about plagiariasm, but it is annoying when celebrities go on tv shows and have free reign to ridicule people or give an unchallenged version of their side of the story. Seinfeld, George Michael and Halle Berry are just a few who have abused their celebrity status in this manner.

Missy La Pine-- that's a VERY funny name, for a French speaker anyway.
