'Dangerous Book For Boys' Author Conn Iggulden Talks To Stephen Colbert About New Book, 'The Dangerous Book Of Heroes' (VIDEO)

Conn Iggulden, the author of the bestselling "Dangerous Book for Boys" is back with a new book, this one called "The Dangerous Book of Heroes." He sat on a Persian rug and talked with Stephen Colbert last night about the new book and what kinds of people he chose to include as the heroes in the book. "They weren't always nice or likable people," he said, perhaps explaining his inclusion of Oliver Cromwell, much to the anger of both Colbert and Iggulden's mother.

Other heroes in the book include George Washington (because he had "venom in his wooden teeth," explained Stephen), Helen Keller, and ordinary people as well. "I wanted it to be clear than an ordinary person can be a hero," Iggulden said.
