Sandra Bullock Talks Son Louis' Bris

Sandra Bullock Baby Adopt Louis
Sandra Bullock said her son's bris was the best moment of her life.

Sandra Bullock, who just revealed she adopted a baby in January, tells all about her son Louis' early weeks in the new issue of People.

Sandra claims she knew nothing at all Jesse James' Nazi obsession. The photo of her husband doing "sieg heil" while wearing an SS officer's hat "shocked me and made me sad," she told People.

She said that Louis even had a bris, presumably soon after they brought him home as a newborn in January. This was long before Jesse's mistresses surfaced so he would have been there for the Jewish ceremony.

A friend of ours helped arrange for a bris at the house, because we couldn't go [to a hospital for the procedure]. The mohel [a person trained in the practice] came to us. You have never seen adults more panicked about what was about to happen to their son, but the celebration and the amount of love we felt and the pride in the little man whom we love so, so much became the greatest moment I have ever had in my life.

I just threw up my yellow corn chips. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

A lot of men do not have *dick cheese*...because they shower daily like any normal person should, and a lot of men hardly have that problem.

By the way you do know that women also collect smegma right? Under their clitoral hood? And that's not the only issue women have to deal with, so let's be a bit more mature and reasonable when talking about this

I didn't even know Sandra was Jewish, Bless her that makes this whole Nazi thing so much harder for her . However The ceremony is ancient and is part of the covenant between God and Abraham , It also has a basis in hygene in a hot climate much like keeping Kosher it has a lot of health reasons in it's foundation. I think if it is her wish then by all menas she should have it done . Mazel Tov

I love how people who are opposed to putting a child through that are called "Extremists", when all most people are saying is let that person decide when they're older. Jews, Muslims, and Americans are the only people that really practice it.

You can try to say it's unclean(Kind of ignorant to say most men in the world are unclean), you can try to push over blown studies(Studies that are either exaggerated or can be dis-proven)

But what's the problem? If being uncut is such an issue...such a hassle, even though most men born intact would not want to lose a part of their penis, then why not let them decide as adults?? If it was so worthless, then wouldn't most of the men want it gone? I mean the United States is not the World...so when I hear people pushing all kinds of nonsense despite the fact that the United States is the only advanced nation doing it, it shows how narrow minded people can be..especially since they're willing to scapegoat intact men

This brings to mind the old observation about clergy: ministers may make bigger salaries, but it's the rabbis who get the tips.

Parents should not have the right to mutilate their children, male or female. In Europe people think we are nuts. Leave the genitalia alone - it is a part of normal anatomy. Sandra Bullock on this issue is wrong. I have followed and reported on this topic for 15 years and it is still sick. Alice Miller was right - it is a form of sexual child abuse

Let me tell you it's an easier procedure when you're 3 days vs 30 years.

No bio needed. My cuteness speaks for itself.

As a Jewish mother to a boy, I find your comment absurd.

Hey, Happycat. I thought you might find this interesting. About 10 years ago they did a study of women who had a very high rate of cervical cancer in third world countries where circumcision was not the usual practise. They found that the lack of hygeine in their male partners (you know where) was the cause. Apparently the detritis that gathers at the head promotes cervical cancer and the medical profession was trying to fix this problem by promoting circumcision. Imagine that!
BTW, my son is also circumcised but we are not Jewish. It was a no brainer and both I and my husband insisted on it.

So Sandra's been "in hiding" because she has a newborn son to care for, not so much because of her skanky husband's behavior. That's good news. Congrats to her.

That baby is beyond cute! He's got the kind of face that is indelible from birth and you can already see the man in there. Absolutely adorable!

Ouch. Poor little Louie. Thank heavens he won't remember the momentous occasion. I do think however, Jesse needs to have a "touch up".

The fact that it is done so routinely in this country i think is the reason that upsets so many people. Also the fact that so many people make jokes about it. Can you imagine any family having a ceremony or making light of their Daughter's first Period ?

So you have no problem with Chinese footbinding and African brass ring neck elongating, because it's done there, right? Riiiiiiight. Otherwise, you'd be... oh, what's the word called, again? Oh, yeah. A hypocrite. Would you like to see the YouTube clip of an 8yo Middle Easern girl tricked into female circumcision? Fine and dandy if it happens routinely, right?

I think the circumcision debates always get too one-sided. That said, it does seem bizarre that in the US we think it is "normal" to cut off part of an infant's penis. The CDC is getting ready to make an annoucement in support of universal male circumcision at birth with very little evidence. (I know about the HIV studies in Africa -- but look closely at the study designs.) What this announcement of support will do is ensure that insurance companies do not stop paying for infant male circumcision as some have done to reduce costs.
