The LA Times reports that Jose Andres, the culinary phenomenon and mastermind behind LA's Bazaar at the SLS Hotel, has set his sights on Las Vegas. Andres' ThinkFoodGroup plans to open two new restaurants in the upcoming Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, expected to open in December:
Andres' ThinkFoodGroup plans to open the fourth outpost of his Spanish tapas bar Jaleo, as well as a restaurant that will feature his take on Chinese and Mexican cuisine. No details on the Chexican restaurant yet.
Andres appeared on 60 Minutes this past weekend, where he discussed his culinary philosophy with Anderson Cooper.
