Lady Gaga's Breast, Butt Edited From 'Alejandro' Performance On 'Idol' (VIDEO)

On Wednesday night's "American Idol" results show, Lady Gaga took to the stage to perform her latest single, taped her appearance last week, after Siobhan Magnus was eliminated from the competition, which gave "Idol" editors plenty of time to snip away.

But what scintillating, too-hot-for-TV content did they decide to ax? Why, an extended, ballad-y version of her hit "Bad Romance," which ran about 1:15 in total length, and a few stray shots of Gaga's posterior (usually cutting to a shot of her winsome violin player for coverage). Oh, and it appears editors also blurred out her left breast when she sprawled across the front of the stage during the "Alejandro" chorus.

First of all I love Gaga, but ther ewas something about that song/performance that threw me off.
1) It's a blatant ripoff of the song "Don't Turn Around" by Ace of Base"
2) I feel like I'm watching Madonna's career moves - she originally did a latin themed song in her early days called "La Isla Bonita" and it was WAY better than "Alejandro"

That being said, she's still the most interesting artist out there and I wish she had performed "Telephone" instead. That song kicks @ss!

The Idol show was the first time I saw her perform, and I couldn't help but think of Madonna as well. And I agree, Madonna's "La Isla Bonita" is a much better song.

What is wrong with that?
EVERY artist does this sometimes and I like it.
I like hearing old favourites sometimes...I like newer versions...ie the original song by Alphaville "Forever Young".

Tiresome.

The costumes, the songs, the gaggle of "dancers"... just doesn't move me in the least.

Give me some hard rock, some fusion, some jazz... anything but these productions.

Ever notice how the "brainiac" in school is marginalized? Fusion guys are the brainiacs of the music world. To little brains, being smart isn't cool. To most "musicians" being super skilled isn't cool either. It means you were more than likely shedding instead of posing.

That said, Lady Gaga is one in a long line of flash performers. Harmless.

P.S. I don't get all the unison dancing either. If it were rolled out for effect on occasion... sure... but through every song and performance? We're covering for a lack of something aren't we?

I really have an indifference to this Lady Gaga person BUT I do have a something to say about her music...Have you noticed how all of her songs practically sound like the SAME song?...They all just seem to have the same vibe to them...just keep the same song...change the song title...and voila!...another hit!...Don't we have higher standards than this same mind-numbing repetative drivel...sadly, I guess not.
