Monday night's Met Costume Institute Gala raised $9 million, WWD reports. Over 725 guests attended the event held in conjunction with the Met's "American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity" spring exhibit. Last year's Gala, celebrating "The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion," raised $5.4 million.
