In Game 3 of the NHL Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins Wednesday night, Mike Richards of Philadelphia caught David Krejci with his head down and made him pay the price.
Richards nailed Krejci at the blue line, causing the Boston forward to skate off the ice. Richards' hit knocked Krejci out of the game -- and the rest of the postseason -- with a broken wrist. Unfortunately for the Flyers, the hit led to a Boston fast break, ending with a goal by Miroslav Satan, giving the Bruins a 2-1 lead. Boston went on to win the game 4-1.
