During a screed against medical marijuana at Wednesday's Senate hearings, state senator Scott Renfroe called demonstrators who smoked pot in front of the Capitol on April 20 "an embarrassment to the state of Colorado." He continued, "It was an embarrassment that the Governor didn't have our National Guard out there, and take away everybody's medical marijuana card."
Renfroe proposed last week that the legislature ask voters to ban medical marijuana dispensaries.
