Poster Boy Dodges Jail Time On Technicality

Poster Boy is free to slice up more subway ads.

The street artist, aka Henry Matyjewicz, barely escaped jail time Thursday after a judge let him off on a technical glitch.

According to the Post,

[Poster Boy] had negotiated a probation deal with the DA late last year, a promise that evaporated when he was rearrested shortly after he pleaded guilty. Furious prosecutors asked Justice Michael Gary to revoke the deal and impose a jail sentence.

Fortunately for the artist, the plea bargain was missing a standard warning that the deal would be if he were to be arrested again.

Ironically, the fact that Poster Boy didn't show up for his own hearing means there will now be a warrant out for him.
