These shoes are totally offensive and clearly show the low opinion some designers have for animals. Anyone stupid enough to buy these ugly shoes and wear them is a walking billboard advocating cruelty to animals. If you like these monstrosities or wear them, you should be very ashamed. The designers should be fined and go to counseling. The next embellishment on some perverted thing calling itself a shoe might be a human ear, or an eyeball - wouldn't that be awesome??

It is rather surprising how many people cannot see the humor in these shoes - they are not meant for actual wearing. Like haute couture clothing it is an exercise in design. As for the hamsters, it's plain to see they are Photoshopped.....

LOL! Good links! I hadn't seen those before and I'm truly lol at the Fish-Flops and Doggie shoes. As for the tall, red boots, I'd love to try walking in those. Would never buy them, but I'd get a kick out of trying to walk in them.

Ha! You beat me to it -- that's exactly what I was gonna suggest. As a woman who appreciates style and loves heels, there's not a single pair among these that I would ever care to step into. But, as you've already said, they'd make some very interesting art. 8^)

those video game shoes have been in japan for like a decade...i saw a girl with a similar pair on the subway there once and she brought her foot up and started playing with them....

I went to the website and saw em all, pretty outrageous, however there is no classic clear ones with the goldfish in the heel, only the hamster in the toe.
