Republican Party Sells Crist Portrait On eBay

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida GOP says it's sold an oil painting of Gov. Charlie Crist, who bolted the party to run for U.S. Senate as an independent.

Party spokeswoman Katie Betta says the buyer was a registered Florida Republican who wanted to remain anonymous after paying $7,700 on eBay.

In a letter to members, the party sought donations to help "move forward from the sordid legacy of Charlie Crist and Jim Greer," the former party chairman.

Crist dropped out of an August Republican primary against conservative favorite Marco Rubio after polls showed him trailing badly. Instead, he'll run with no party affiliation in a three-way race, likely against Rubio and Democratic U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek.

Maybe the florida GOP is pro-porn now? How else to accept that they're helping ebay (aka: Meg Whitman's "Porn Empire") to profit on the sale.

Jim Greer, Rubio an Steele are the ones that should have been throwen out of the Republican Party. Instead they stab Republicans like Crist in the back, an throw them under the Bus. The Republican party doesn't stand for anything any more except Strip Sex Clubs, Ethics violation, Lipmus test to be a member.
