A Southern California middle school is the target of an investigation after reports have surfaced that two students engaged in a sex act while their classmates filmed them and the teacher stood by doing nothing.
An eighth grade boy and a seventh grade girl are said to have engaged in an oral sex act at Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard, a city about 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
Parents in the school claim to have seen the video tape of the sex act, and are calling for the teacher to be fired.
"A serious allegation has been made that there was a sexual encounter between two students," Oxnard Assistant Superintendent Sean Goldman said. He added that the district is investigating the situation, and expects to release their findings this week.
