Stuart Springstube DEAD: Dies From Miller Park Fall

Stuart Springstube, a baseball fan who fell off a railing while attending a game in late April, has died from his injuries, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. He was 51.

Springstube fell 14 feet from left field at Miller Park in Milwaukee on April 25. The Chicago Cubs were in batting practice when he fell. Springstube reportedly suffered a brain hemorrhage and he died on Wednesday.

At the time of the incident, Springstube "was observed by fans after the fall moving all his extremities," a Brewers spokesman said in April.

In 1999, three workers were killed during the ballpark's construction. Another man survived a 17-foot fall at Miller Park in 2004.
