Hollywood Shooting: Multiple Wounded In Los Angeles Incident

UPDATE: ABC 7 confirms that it was an officer involved shooting, and reports that two victims in the Las Palmas shootings have been transported to local hospitals, not the previously reported four. All suspects are in custody and all officers accounted for.

At least four people have been wounded in a Hollywood shooting this afternoon in Los Angeles, California, according to L.A. Now.

L.A. Now tweeted at approximately 2:20 p.m. local time, "BREAKING: Four wounded in multiple-shooting in Hollywood."

Los Angeles Police Department sources told L.A. Now that the shooting took place shortly after 1:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Las Palmas Avenue. It is believed to have involved a domestic disturbance.

There are rumors that a police officer may have been involved in the shooting. LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman said only there was a shooting with multiple victims and an officer's involvement can not be confirmed at this time, NBC Los Angeles reports
