'Meet The Press' Ratings Fall To David Gregory's Second-Lowest Ever

"Meet the Press" fell to its second-lowest ratings under David Gregory this past Sunday.

The NBC Sunday show averaged just 2.57 million total viewers; it was enough to win first place, but also just a hair over Gregory's lowest total ever (June 21, 2009, when he averaged 2.56 million total viewers).

CBS' "Face the Nation" placed second with 2.32 million total viewers, while ABC's "This Week" placed third with 2.05 million total viewers.

In the A25-54 demo, "Meet the Press" won with 910,000, "This Week" placed second with 660,000, and "Face the Nation" placed third with 650,000.

Fox's "Fox News Sunday" placed fourth in both categories, averaging 1.22 million total viewers and 430,00 A25-54 viewers.

"Meet the Press" was down 17% week-to-week; last week, it averaged 3.08 million total viewers -- meaning it lost 510,000 viewers week-to-week.

Senators Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell were guests on "Meet the Press" Sunday.
