How evil. Him making money from a book! Ig uess all those who hate him for doing so have just GOTTA hate the Obama, both of them, for doing the very same thing, right?

Hmmm?

What an uninspiring leader. We need to make holding public office more attractive for the really talented...and inspiring. This is just pathetic.

Hey, at least he is the governor, it's not like he, oh, I don't know, quit.

On Solid But Oily Ground
08:05 PM on 05/23/2010
The man has made it his life's calling to tell the feds to stay OUT of the State of Louisiana

Yet he can't go a day without mentioning how the federal government should CONTINUE staying in Louisiana to clean up the oil spill

Funny how that works

Piyush Jindal cashing in!

Better hurry quickly cash in as much as you can, before the media and public figures out that he was in the "Drill, Baby Drill" camp before the BP spill started washing into the Louisiana coast and wet lands.

Excerpt from wikipedia: "In 2006, Jindal sponsored the Deep Ocean Energy Resources Act (H.R. 4761), a bill to eliminate the moratorium on offshore oil and gas drilling over the U.S. outer continental shelf. A poll taken while the bill was being debated, showed that 73% of the U.S. public supported the measure. Jindal argues that 30-40% of oil reserves of the United States are near the Louisiana coast and increased drilling would reduce American dependence on foreign oil.[109] This prompted the watchdog groups, Republicans for Environmental Protection as well as the nonpartisan League of Conservation Voters to rate him among the lowest in Congress in 2006.[110][111][112] H.R. 4761 was replaced by S 3711 (known as the Domenici-Landrieu Fair Share Plan) which was passed by both houses of Congress and signed by President George W. Bush.[113]"

"solid ground"?

Quick call an exorcist. The guy has delusions up the ying-yang, like Reagan.

Can't help but wonder if he's following Obama's footsteps (Audacity of Hope, Dreams from...) prior to his campaign. If so, then imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

That's where the imitation ends; Jindal seems to be completely lacking in charisma or eloquence.

Totally agree!
...completely lacking in charisma, eloquence, being proud for his roots...amongst other things!

Piyush should donate all the profits to the victims of the BP catastrophe.

I'll wait until it hits the 99 cent bin. Shouldn't be too long.

Is Bobby Jindal's solid ground the kind covered in oil?
03:55 PM on 05/22/2010
Lol.

Well, some of it is -- or maybe it's shaking 'cause he'd want to cut funding for such inessentials as "volcano monitoring". Who cares if we lose an airliner or two to an undetected ash cloud?
