Financial Reform News Sends Big Bank Stocks Up (CHART)

If the latest scare quotes from financial industry are reflective of the industry's concerns about the Senate's newly passed financial reform bill, investors surely aren't. Big bank stocks, including Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Bank of America and Citigroup were all up almost 4 percent today before leveling off, as you'll note by this chart below. For comparison's sake, the Dow Jones Industrial average was finished the day flat.
