AT&T may be rethinking their "Rethink Possible" ad campaign after being accused of ripping off the work of artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
In a new commercial (see below), people are seen draping monuments all across America in orange fabric which has an undeniable similarity to pieces by the artists, specifically their 2005 installation "The Gates" in Central Park.
According to Page Six, Christo and his lawyer have complained to AT&T, and last week a disclaimer was tacked on to the end of the commercial saying, "The artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude have no direct or indirect affiliation or involvement with AT&T."
Jeanne-Claude died last November.
