Michaele And Tareq Salahi, Accused State Dinner Party Crashers, Crash Letterman Monologue (VIDEO)

Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the couple accused of crashing a White House state dinner in 2009, made it past CBS security Tuesday and appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman" during Letterman's monologue.

In what was obviously a planned appearance, the D.C. couple waltzed out onto Letterman's stage and, without saying a word, posed for photos with the host before a waiting crowd of faux-paparazzi. After a few seconds of flashbulbs and silence, the couple walked off.

During a White House state dinner for Mexico last week, the Salahis were spotted near the White House. With a camera crew in tow, the couple said that it was "an unbelievable coincidence" that they were there during another state dinner. The pair are still under federal investigation for their first state dinner appearance.

Earlier Tuesday, the Salahis appeared on The Today Show and again refuted that they had crashed the party.
