The Best Movie Poster Mash-Ups Ever (PHOTOS)

Huffington Post     First Posted: 05/26/10 09:19 AM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 05:35 PM ET

What is it about combining two different movies that pleases us so much? Perhaps it's because when our favorite comedies are mashed up with action or drama flicks, we either get an absurdly funny farce, or a surprisingly well-fitting combo that we'd actually pay to see. We've found a wealth of hilarious movie poster mash-ups online. Would any of these films actually work? Vote for your favorite, and if you've created a mash-up poster of your own, submit it by clicking the 'Participate' button to the right!

i feel sorry for Bill Condon, the director of the Twilight: Breaking Dawn movies... how can you film that scene and not have it look crazy/Rosemary's Baby/Alien-ish....

Wow, the 40 year-old Goonie poster looks like it was crossed with Linda Blair from the Excorcist.

How about 'Sex and the City Slickers'?

I think this is one of the more creative things to pass for comedy on this website. Kudos to the creative team. Well, except for the Marley & Me / Lohan. Not exactly classics like the others.

Saw a mash up years ago that had Dirty Harry with a yellow smiling face over Eastwood's. There was a title that was Terms of Sudden Impact. Seems DH was supposed to blow away Debra Winger. Boffo box office!
