Howard Fineman: On Oil Spill, Obama 'Put Too Much Trust In Technology And Business' (VIDEO)

During "Hardball" Thursday, MSNBC's Chris Matthews and Howard Fineman panned President Obama's press conference about the BP oil spill.

Between Obama's first declaration that BP was in charge and then later that the federal government was in charge, Matthews and Fineman concluded that the president's remarks provided more questions than answers.

Fineman argued that Obama is paying a price for taking BP's word about the initial assessments on the spill's size and scope.

"Barack Obama, who doesn't know much about technology or business, put too much
trust in technology and business," said Fineman.
