David Vitter Bp

TIME:

What happens when you're a small government, pro-business conservative and you're state gets pummeled by one of the worst man made disasters ever - not five years after getting pummeled by one of the worst natural disasters (Hurricane Katrina)? If you're Louisiana Senator David Vitter, you double down on offshore drilling and push for a liability cap for BP.

Maybe some Free Market fundamentalist can explain this to me, but why isn’t unregulated litigation just another byproduct of the free market? Isn’t tort reform just another form of regulation? So many of you have said that poor business decisions will naturally result in the business suffering – i.e. BP now has to pay for the clean up or business that discriminate will lose customers, but why  Read More...

That's right, Vitter--hitch your wagon to BP's star. I wish, just once, that a Republican would floor me and actually do something moral and decent. Ha, what WAS I thinking!!???

What else would you expect from human filth and documented lawbreaker GOP Senator David Vitter?

He must have extra time on his hands when away from the prostitutes.
10:28 AM on 06/11/2010
jeremyfive,

you are absolutely correct.

And he and Gov. Bobby Jindal are Pro-life and Family Values Catholics who voted FOR the killing of Iraqis for their oil. Not GOP oil, but IRAQI oil. That's his and all GOPs oil connections, steal and kill for it. They never want to pay for it.

I'm a Catholic but most assuredly NOT their kind of Catholic, NOR the popes kind of Catholic. They are the kind of Catholics who tortured and killed Jews, Muslims, Protestants, etc. I abhor that kind of Catholic. Their the worst, and the biggest hypocrites of all. They espouse Pro-life and Family Values just like the pope and then say nothing when Bush starts up his oil wars. And bin Laden is still out there.

Bin Laden was supported with money from the bin Laden family and the Saudi Royal family. The Bush family are friends with the Saudi Royal family and the bin Laden family. WE got no explanations or admission of this situation from GWB or any of the Bush family.

We paid for their wars and "we the people" died in their wars. The next time the GOP or their Religious Right, including my religion, want a war let them fight it and let them do their own dying.

Thanks for your post and all the best to you and yours.

Constructive criticism. Louisiana democrats, quit electing corrupt dems like Landreiu, Vitter, and Breaux. They are killing you!

I know that Lousiana has the lowest percentage of active voters in the country and that is why these buzzards dominate your state. This has to change. You have to vote and start electing good honest politicians. Your open primaries should allow you to elect some good greens and independents if the problem is that the dem party there has become too corrupt.

That's RepuKKKes for ya, as soon as one of their becomes an embarrassment, they claim he's not a RepuKKKe anymore. Revisionist history at it's best. Remember that they claimed that Hitler all of a sudden is a leftwing socialist, so they could tie him (unsuccesfully) to Obama and more stuff like that. With the Patriot Act, a Republican brainchild, they ARE more like Hitler than any other political party in the West!

RIGHT.

Vitter is a Repub and so is Bobby Jindal, their governor. They fought us on Health Care and still do. And their supposed to be Pro-life and Family Values. They can't oppose Health Care and still claim Pro-life and Family Values. In all reality all they really are is money grubbing, oil stealing Repubs who kill for money, oil and BIG Corporations.

Like I've been saying. These people have been voting against their own best economic interests. And this is just another example.

And now they are whining and want the "gubmint" to help them out. Ah, principled conservatism....always served with a double dose of drooling hypocrisy.

Wasn't BP part of the oil industry gang that paid for hookers over Minerals Management Services. Now I understand why he is going to bat for BP. Senator David Vitter wants free hookers in exchange for going to batsy for BP. The little bat is again doing his thinking.

For Vitter Prostitution Really is a Way of Life

BP should have limited liability? How does this help his state. I can understand a defense of offshore drilling since it is the source of so much of the state's income (via leasing, employment, and refining). BUT, to say that BP should be off the hook for the costs of this disaster????

Yep he is very comfortable with prostituting himself to his backers and his state to the drillers.

The Washington Madam Scandal was just a little something on the side.

Vitter also contacted Sue Lowden for lots and lots of chickens to sop up the oil and then throw them on the grill. Typical repubeliklan solutions.
