Princess Letizia Steps Out In Practical Pumps (PHOTOS, POLL)

Princess Letizia of Spain stepped out to Yuso's Monastery in San Millan de la Cogolla on Tuesday, and instead of sporting her signature stilettos or demonstrating her new-found love of flats, she wore a pair of practical pumps. That's right--just tiny, one-or two-inch heels.

The royal wedding in Sweden (crown princess Victoria to Daniel Westling, her gym instructor) is on the 19th, this month. I can't wait to see what Letizia and Rania have picked to wear! They are the only two royals whose clothes I'm interested in. Maybe Kate will be the third.

She´s newsworthy in any style forum in the world, because she is one of the most stylish woman in the world.
I don´t really think this outfit or this shoes are nothing special, but I think they are news worthy for HuffPost because Letizia is a trend setter in shoes and she has been wearing peep toes and platform heels, two years before other royals or celebrities started wearing them...and now she changed her style...into pumps...

Dear Huffington Post,
Please post some new photos of Princess Letizia.
She is so beautiful and elegant. I feel so inspired looking at her.
I wish I could be a Princess. Or a Countess, Baroness, or Lady, married to a loving, charming, cultured European man
And to travel everywhere with my man. And then, to have 2 beautiful babies, and be a wonderful mother to our children.
And of course, to own a beautiful designer wardrobe.
That would be my dream come true!

P.S. If you could post some new photos of the Princess every week, I would be very grateful.

I was looking at some photos on Zimbio and also You Tube today and sighing over this beautiful love story. The YouTube videos of her presentation to the press as Filipe's fiance show a nervous Letizia and today she's a perfect Crown Princess relaxed and confident. Their wedding vows video is absolutely like a fairy tale. Sigh!

She's been wearing low-heeled pumps lately. Could it be the platforms will be going out of style soon? I remember when Letizia started wearing shoes with platforms almost 2 years ago. These pumps are very cute. The flats she's been wearing lately are also very cute.

Then again, I think she wears "sensible" shoes whenever she has to stand/walk for a long time, such as mingling with the public, and she has to walk a lot. Otherwise, for a dinner or an awards ceremony, she wears high heels.

Lots of cute shoes are made in Spain - she tends to buy "local" for everyday things. Wouldn't that be a great bump to the shoe industry there!
