David Rosenthal To Leave Simon & Schuster, Jonathan Karp To Step In

The New York Times:

David Rosenthal, the publisher of Simon & Schuster, is leaving the company, he said on Wednesday. Simon & Schuster is expected to announce Mr. Rosenthal's replacement on Thursday morning.

"It's been a great run for 13 years with great books and authors," Mr. Rosenthal said. "Every executive reaches an expiration date."
