LeAnn Rimes: 'I Don't Regret' Affair With Married Eddie Cibrian

"I did one of the most selfish things that I possibly could do, in hurting someone else," the country superstar says in the new issue of PEOPLE, speaking for the first time about the end of her 7-year marriage last year, following an affair with married actor Eddie Cibrian.

"I take responsibility for everything I've done. I hate that people got hurt," says Rimes. "But I don't regret the outcome."

Obviously this man has no morals and I hate to tell you Grimes...he will do the same to you! Men like this do not stay happy for long and are always looking for something to help them overcome their own personal problems. I feel for his ex. Why/How someone could do this is beyond me, not to mention his kids will learn the same behavior.

I kind of skimmed over the article. They planted it way in the back of the magazine. One of the funniest thing she said is that her and Eddie are 100% honest with each other, even when the truth hurts. Yeah right. I think she is trying to convince herself that he is no longer a cheating liar. Bwahahaha

Anybody here READ the new People Magazine article? It's hysterical! It's the most blatant attempt at PR image overhaul ever.

She's only "taking responsibility" because she has a new album to promote. If she was really taking responsibility, she and Eddie would lie low and she wouldn't be talking to People Magazine. Instead they flaunt their relationship every chance they get and set up photo opts with the paps.

There are consequences to your actions. This may or may not be the match made in heaven. Funny about the timing when people release the truth about their affairs. Not sure I understand all the writing. Generally people who have affairs keep having affairs in future relationships.

LeAnn,

I just want everyone to know, who already don't know, what type of woman you are.

It seems that there has been a lot of talk of how dispicable men are when they go and cheat on their wives. It is fantastic that when a woman goes and does it, no one seems to be at all outraged over the whole thing.

So, I just what to say that, from the bottom of my heart, you are the most selfish, egotistical, backstabbing, b!%ch of a woman I have ever seen. You have no feelings, you are a hypocrite, and I sincerely hope that karma will come around and kick you on your behind.

The funny thing is that this relationship, no matter how many times you do it with this man, will not last. So have your lovely time. Since you have no remorse about cheating on your husband, rememeber that your new man ALSO has no remorse on cheating on his wife, and he WILL do it again.

I only hope when he does it to you, he does it in the most dispicible way that will leave you with so many emotional scars that you will not be able to fully recover.

When that happens, you will finally have something to sing about, being a country singer, and then you will make so much money. Then you will be alone.

My favorite part is how you say neither of them have any remorse about cheating. Very true and because of it it is safe to conclude that they will do again without remorse. I'd love to see a picture of her looking at a picture of Eddie and his new bikini clad mistress necking on the beach.

I agree with your post (minus the "Ho" part) but... isn't the old saying correctly phrased "what goes around, comes around"? Meaning what you do ("goes around") will come back to you ("comes around). At least, that was the way we stated the phrase back in the day (I'm 42).
I'm not being critical...just wondering if the phrase has changed since my day. You know us old folks don't always keep up with the latest changes. (smile).
