The neighborhood is a curious location for someone who has faced questions about his sexuality for years (neighbors include Marc Jacobs and Lance Bass).
Still the $3.775 million apartment looks like a great buy. The 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,200-square-foot loft sits on the 17th floor of the Chelsea Mercantile building.
And Melhman was clearly dead set on getting this apartment -- according to Curbed, he paid $100K over the asking price.
