Raging Colorado Rivers: Photos And Video From Around The State

Continued warm weather, combined with possible thunderstorms, will keep public safety officials in Colorado on their toes through the end of the week as rivers throughout the state run high and fast.

Unseasonably warm weather over the last several weeks has led to the rapid melting of snow in Colorado's high country, which has in turn fed thousands of gallons of extra water into the state's alpine streams.

The result has been dangerously fast rivers, which have led to several deaths, collapsed bridges and occasional flooding.
