John McCain Backs Snooki's Attack On Obama, Tanning-Bed Tax

PHOENIX — Arizona Sen. John McCain is taking to Twitter to slam President Barack Obama, this time in an exchange with a star from MTV's hit reality series "Jersey Shore."

In a preview for the show's next season, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi laments that she doesn't use tanning beds anymore because "Obama put a 10 percent tax on tanning."

She says, "McCain would never put a 10 percent tax on tanning, because he's pale and he would probably want to be tan."

McCain, a skin cancer survivor, replied Wednesday on Twitter, saying "u r right, I would never tax your tanning bed! Pres Obama's tax/spend policy is quite The Situation. but I do rec wearing sunscreen!"

Snooki replied: "Haha Yes!!"

The federal health care overhaul championed by Obama is funded in part with a 10 percent tax on tanning-bed services.

I find it interesting that John McCain can take out time to confer with Snookie(?) and be absent from the biggest issues.

In Afghanistan, it looks like the strategy of Petraeus and McChrystal may not be working very well and these were McCain's heroes during the 2008 campaign. Where is he to now? oh, guess that they can't provide the number of troops on the ground (100+) plus Black Hawks to cover him during a very frivolous trip to an out-door market like in Iraq...never mind...gotta go tanning

Now we may have the possibility of not a U recession but an W recession - where's McCain??
And then we have the Gulf Coast tragedy that will impact the country for years...where's McCain...
If this comes to McCain, guess what he will do....go BOOOOOOMMMM! (bomb, bomb, bomb bomb bomg Iran" heh, heh, heh). - but first, gotta take care of Snookie's tanning tax issue.

The tax is being levied with the same intent as cigarette taxes, as a deterrent since tanning beds are linked to melanoma cancer.

Let's discuss this at length, shall we? First off, how low has McCain sunken when he's pandering for votes by "communicating" with that semi-special-needs girl from Jersey?!

Secondly, if you're going to choose a nickname that sounds like an STD you picked up while partying in Mexico or South Beach, then you're probably not going to be too much of an expert on anything; other than picking up a STD while partying...

While I'm not a big fan over taxing things, we do have taxes on other things that are bad for you, Snooki. Cigarettes comes to mind. Booze, maybe. Tanning beds are a vanity choice for people who don't know any better, like you Snookster, or John Boehner.

Now please, if you both will - McCain and Snookster - no talking for the next 30 days...
