The United States allowed a goal to England just minutes into its first match of the 2010 World Cup, but the Americans rallied back to tie the game later in the first half. 39 minutes into the game, Clint Dempsey delivered a strike at English goalkeeper Robert Green, who let the ball slip through his hands for the score.
