Uruguay has won two World Cups, but their last championship was 60 years ago. The country has gotten off to a good start this year, however, by scoring its first goal 23 minutes into Wednesday's match against South Africa. (The team previously tied France last week.) Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan rocketed in a shot off the top crossbar, and the ball bounced in for the score. Scroll down for video.
UPDATE: Forlan scored a second goal in the 79th minute on a penalty kick, giving Uruguay a 2-0 lead. The team later scored in stoppage time, giving them a 3-0 victory over the host nation.
