Youtube Injuries

Could YouTube be hazardous to your health?

A CBS report examines how an increasing number of teens have suffered injuries--burns, broken bones, and more--in the quest for viral video fame.

One doctor says he's seen a fourfold increase in injuries suffered by kids attempting to pull off "outrageous acts"--stunts they've seen on YouTube and hope to recreate.

Do you think YouTube could be sending people to the hospital as they attempt to copy "dangerous viral videos"? Tell us in the comments section below.

YouTube is not bad for people's health. Stupidity is what's bad for people's health.
Just like the song says, if you wanna be dumb, you've gotta be tough.

Tell me about it. There was nothing in this video that we did not do as kids (we used dry ice not baking soda and vinegar) and we had no youtube.

Do I think YouTube is doing it? No, I think stupid kids are doing stuff that gets them sent to the hospital. I do think YouTube enables it, though.

So this woman wants Youtube to monitor her children?
How about she monitors what her kids are doing, both on-line and in the real world.
This isn't Youtube's fault, it's dumb parents passing on useless genetics to their children and then not taking the responsibilities of being a parent.

First it was the fault of violent movies, then it was video game, now its YouTube...

Its a wild goose chase looking to blame someone/something when children misbehave but since the beginning of time the cause has always been the same.... bad parents!

What to control what minors do on the internet. Than create a secure and monitored minors only internet. The greatest threat to children has always been other children, big difference nowadays marketing organisation make use of peer pressure to market products regardless of consequences. Risk taking, raunch etc. they all all on the table for adults to manipulate impressionable children.
