Japan is a world leader in minaturized lifestyles and it s still the most expensive country i ve been to,will our economic masters not just make it equally expensive to live a green lifestyle on these commendable and straightforward principles?I mean i live in a relatively poor country and the reason it works (and lives are not crushingly hard) is that all decisions about money are important and not taken lightly, money is harnessed to where it s greatest impact will be-a common sense frugality. It grows on you when you live amongst such people, you realise that they are actually horrified at others spending without any positive benefit. But to overcome the 'selfish gene' aspect of western lifestyles, with it s inherent conditioning and class that will not be so easy.I mean some countries seem to prefer inanimate objects to human beings.
