Colorado State Tuition Changes: Will CU Have To Respond?

Brittany Duran's mother lost her job as a chef, and her stepfather has been working side jobs after being laid off from his career in the home-improvement industry.

Her family's income bracket could qualify her for free, or reduced, tuition at Colorado State University come 2011 through the school's newly announced tuition breaks. But the incoming University of Colorado freshman said she'll likely stay put on the Boulder campus, affording tuition with loans and CU scholarships.
