White House Doctor Connie Mariano On Jon Stewart: Which President Was Most Healthy, Which Was Worst Patient? (VIDEO)

Connie Mariano, official doctor of presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, was on "The Daily Show" last night to talk about her new book, "The White House Doctor." She had some interesting insights on the presidents, having seen them all in their underwear and cloth robes. George W. Bush was in the best shape of the three, Mariano said. "I believe he would have made a much better astronaut than president," Jon Stewart suggested.

Clinton was the worst patient of them all, she said: "He didn't want to take it easy." There were difficult times with all of the presidents, though, and Mariano had worked out a strategy: "The way to get their attention if they refuse to listen to you is you always appeal to a higher authority. You say, "Mr. President, I'll have to tell the First Lady about this."
