Rachel Maddow To Anchor From Afghanistan

Rachel Maddow will anchor her MSNBC program from Afghanistan next week in her first trip to the region.

MSNBC announced that Maddow will travel to Kabul this week and anchor "The Rachel Maddow Show" live from Kabul next Tuesday and Wednesday (July 6-7).

Maddow will be joined by NBC News Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel.

"The trip, her first to the region, comes as Gen. Petraeus assumes command there, on the heels of Gen. Stanley McChrystal's ouster as command of the U.S. and NATO war effort in Afghanistan, and as debate mounts over U.S. counter-insurgency strategy in the nation and the timetable for withdrawal," the announcement states.

Did Rachel Maddow (and Keith Olbermann) reveal their ignorance of the reality of water fluoridation as they commented on Harry Reid's re-election campaign? We all know fluoride is toxic, since we started to read the back of the toothpaste tube. So why did they belittle someone opposing adding toxic fluoride to drinking water?

Rachel's Dad is a lawyer who represents California water districts who are fluoridating their constituents. It's odd that such a political junkie, such as Maddow, would have any interest in fluoridation. This might explain why. And why she won't research the topic because she might have to prove her Dad is wrong and that would have severe ramifications for him and his law firm who are probably advising California water districts that fluoridation is safe and effective when science proves it is not

Please don't do this. When you are 62 and tossing trying to get to sleep, this evil deed will haunt you. It will take a while for you to understand why this will likely be one of the most regrettable acts of your entire life. sticky ... Do you know how many years we'd have to have terrorists come over here and set off bombs and shoot people to equal the number of times/countries we've charged into willy nilly before those numbers were evened?

We are exceedingly fortunate that we don't live in a war-torn country. That's arguably due to the fact that we have a strong military.

But we'd be equally well advised to stop waging war on countries that did not actually attack us because it just makes them hate us more.

Really, going over and killing a bunch of people in their country is not the best way to achieve world peace.

I encourage you to read Three Cups of Tea, the extraordianry story of Greg Mortenson's work in Pakistan and Afghanistan ... broaden your mind a bit. Peace.
