This is the result of Blair's great ambition to ensure that 50% of all students attained university degrees. The first thing he did was up the status of polytechnic trade colleges and adult education centres to university status. The most popular degree course of study for kids is "media studies", with some "universities" promising graduates jobs with the BBC. As if. Another popular course is Travel and Tourism. What you're seeing now is the first crop of Blair's babes hitting the non-existent job market. Of course, no problem for the Blair's kids, themselves, in finding jobs. And, BTW, in ENGLAND, you pay tuition fees and almost everyone leaves uni in debt ... just like the US.

And so the real story of the College Industrial Complex starts. But hey, at least they didnt waste time doing an MBA, as David Wylde wants everyone to do to keep the college industry afloat. Just Google "MBA Underground", and "Did David Wylde Really Say That?" to get an idea.

The real story, which I've yet to seen being tackled anywhere is the great college consumer fraud going on, in England there is probably little recourse to the law for these students, but here in the USA, what responsibilities are owed by colleges that sell dreams and false graduate job numbers and deliver debt? Big ones, and the lawsuits are probably going to be bigger than mesothelioma in terms of the numbers. In a few years there are going to be signs saying "Liberal Arts and MBA grads need not apply"
