Today on HuffPost, Dan Froomkin takes a look at the plight of the sea turtles -- arguably the most affected animals from April's BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

You've likely also seen many photos of brown pelicans, the state bird of Louisiana, covered in oil. HuffPost Impact wanted to take a look at several of the animals whose lives and continual survival are being dramatically changed by the oil spill.
