A 9-year-old Chicago girl drowned Saturday trying to rescue her sister in Lake Michigan in northwest Indiana.
Destiny Bahena was playing in the water at Lakeview Beach near Beverly Shores with a group of 12 to 15 kids when her 6-year-old sister reportedly was pushed down by one of the children, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
