CNN: Andrew Rodgers' Stunning Lava Stone Art in Turkey (VIDEO)

In this video from CNN's Inside the Middle East, correspondent Ivan Watson explores the natural wonders of Cappadocia, Turkey, where thousands of years of wind and water have "carved through soft lava rock" to create "bizarre natural formations." Generations of locals, dating back to the 4th century, have carved their own homes and churches out of the rock.

Today, an Australian sculptor named Andrew Rodgers has designed a number of massive stone formations, much to the bafflement of some locals. Rodgers' "earth drawings" are best viewed via hot air balloon.
