This is a very handy information. For most moms who just starting out, acupressure is also an effective form of morning sickness cure. There's a pressure point on the center of your wrist, just one and a half inch below the crease. When pressed for several minutes, it can effectively relieve morning sickness. Go to morningsicknessfix(DOT)com/morning-sickness-treatment/ to learn more.

Well, the real problem with acupressure is that it is the cousin of acupuncture--a thoroughly disproven method.

Do tell. Who has discredited it? Even the TV series MASH in the 70's appproved it. Nice hit an run piece but it doesn't work when you don't follow up with anything. Even the Mayo Clinic her in Minnesota recognizes it. My health insurance pays for it.

Huh? Acupuncture has been around for 1000's of years. "A thoroughly disproven method"? What ground have you been buried in? Did someone type that comment for you?

The problem with accupressure is that its hard to do on yourself, it should be done too you so you can relax and get the benefits. When you do it on yourself one hand arm and shoulder is tense from actually doing it, so half the body is trying to be in a relaxed, receptive position and the other half is actively moving.... Saying that..its something I have been doing for 30 years ! The points on the hands and the feet are my favorite areas. The point below the nose and above the lips is good for relieving cramps but it also can raise bloodpressure..found that out the hard way. The webbing between the thumb and palm is good for alot of things but it shouldn't be done on pregnant women. And alot of points respond better to lite touch as opposed to hard deep message. ( BTW, for some reason I couldn't get the video to play on my computor)
