Tuohy Family From 'The Blind Side' Writes Book About Inspiring Story

The real life Tuohy family, who took in young Michael Oher and supported him until he was selected in the first round of the NFL draft by the Baltimore Ravens, and featured in the box-office smash "The Blindside," has now written a book about their experiences. It's titled, "In A Heartbeat."

George Stephanopoulos from ABC News spoke to Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy and what inspired them to help out.

"It's great to write a check," Leigh Anne Tuohy said. "But it's more important to give of your time and of yourself and of your talents. That's what makes a difference."

When asked why their story touched so many people, Sean Tuohy said that the gap between where Oher was and where he is now was so great. "You couldn't have been further down than he was," he said. "And you couldn't be higher up than he is now."
