Erin Andrews Renews ESPN Contract, Joins 'College GameDay' & 'GMA'

Erin Andrews Renews ESPN Contract, Will Appear On 'GMA'

Erin Andrews has signed a multi-year deal to stay at ESPN — and the network announced Monday she'll be adding two new shows to her lineup.

In addition to sideline reporting, Andrews will join ESPN's "College GameDay" and, in an example of corporate cross-pollination, will now be a regular contributor to ABC's "Good Morning America." Both ABC and ESPN are owned by Disney.

"I am very pleased and excited about my new role with the network and I'm especially looking forward to the new opportunities presented with 'College GameDay' and 'Good Morning America'," Andrews said.

In previous interviews, Andrews had not been so open about her career plans. In June, she refused to talk about her plans regarding her contract's July 1 expiration.

But on June 29, ESPN Executive Vice President Norby Williamson said Andrews had tentatively renewed her contract, striking a multi-year deal with ESPN and ABC, USA Today reported.

Andrew joined ESPN in 2004, covering the NHL's Stanley Cup Finals, and branching out to cover MLB the following year. This year, Andrews competed on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
