Kathy Griffin And Her Mom On Their New Book, 'Tip It' (VIDEO)

Kathy Griffin and her mother, Maggie Griffin, talked to CBS's "Early Show" this morning about Maggie's new book "Tip It." Griffin's 90-year-old mother has written a book about her life with help and interjections from Kathy -- "unapproved," Kathy is quick to point out: "I hijacked it."

The two bantered about their similarities and differences, drinking wine, and the reception that the book has gotten. The title, Maggie explained, comes from the phrase exchanged after a group makes a toast with their wine glasses -- but it also refers to the boxed wine she likes to drink, and how you have to tip the box to get the last of the wine out -- just as you have to do with life, she says.

Now THIS is family values. Love the idea of a mother-daughter autobio. You can feel the love in this family and I find them to be top-notch comedians. Sometimes Kathy is a little mean, but we can't all be DeGeneres.
